The Members of the 1949 & 1950 Senior Corps started the Carnicelli-Indelicato American Legion Post 1776 who Later sponsored the Junior Corps and the Cadets

New York State American Legion Champions in 1974.

Only New York State Corps to ever make top 10 in DCI Finals.

 Since August 10th, 2007, we now have the New
Purple Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps
of Auburn, NY, Inc,
(which is an All Age Senior Corps -13 and up) 

On November 26th, 2007
We became a valid Corporation in NYS;
On April 07 2008  we purchased New Drums from "Yamaha";
On May 16th, 2008 we Became a 501(c) (3) Non Profit Organization with the approval of the
Internal Revenue Service
and
On 08/08/08, Two days shy of  a Year that
we have been Reviving this Corps,
We ordered 34 new HORNS.
We will receive the balance of our order by the end of November 2008.
