Second Baritone from 1968 to 1973. Learned a lot of lessons and made some great friends as a Purple Lancer. Who remembers the FROD?

Hello to all past and present members of APL. I can tell from the messages here that our past experiences with the drum corps are remembered fondly and am sure the current members will be looking back on this experience years from now saying the same things. My sisters and I marched in colorguard from '71-74--the "glory" years of DCI championships, trips to WI, KY, OH, and other memorable places. Where has the time gone?? A few of us are putting together some plans to re-connect this year at DCA's in Rochester in Sept. Please save the date and reach out to any former members of APL to get them out there for a trip down memory lane. More details to follow......Jodie Kelsey Wallace and myself are trying to organize this event, so feel free to contact me at jmdimperio@rochester.rr.com with your ideas, names and contact info for our friends from the glory days. Best of luck to the current APL (you guys are looking and sounding great!). See you at DCA's!

Hello to the Purple Lancer family (Baritone 70-74)!! It's great to see the Corps back again and to here all the memories...Here's one.. Did anyone hear about getting stuck in the elevator in Kentucky? :)I don't know what was funnier that or trying to sneak the coolers down the hall in the dorms!!! These are memories that will last forever, it seams like only yesterday..

Wow what a suprise to find this site!I was a memeber for the 66 to 68 seasons. Then I played 1st baritone.Would love to find out where I could get a copy of the 1967 World Open where we missed finals due to 2 uniforms( the Purple Lancers and the Shortsville Shamrocks) We blew the stadium apart off the line with Man from Lamacia and my accidental solo on If You Knew Susie
